Mangaldai: Mangaldai Parliamentarian Dilip Saikia has observed more government patronization with well organised publicity for wider extension of the commercial marketing of the products of the local small and micro industries of the State. He was speaking as the chief guest in the closing ceremony of the five day State level industrial exhibition and trade fair of the products of the govt recognised small and micro industries here in the historical Gandhi Maidan. ” This is a very good initiative for promoting the market of the local production units and we need to organise more such trade fair in different areas for commercial extension of their products.”, Said, Parliamentarian Saikia. He also had a close look on the products with artistic flavour displayed in more than eighty stalls of the expo organised by voluntary organisation Crystal Vision under the aegis of the District Industries and Commerce Centre (DICC) , Darrang and interacted with the young entrepreneurs . Earlier in the closing ceremony MP Saikia in presence of Mangaldai Legislator Gurujyoti Das, General Manager, DICC, Darrang Hemanta Talukdar ceremonially distributed the certificates to the participants. Prior to this MP Saikia was offered felicitation by the organiser Crystal Vision and its sister orphanage centre ‘Aai’ Most of the products with artistic flavour showcased in the expo could draw the attention of a large no of visitors over the last five days.
