  • NDA women MPs to hold Dharna to raise issue of women’s safety in Delhi

    Women parliamentarians belonging to the NDA will hold a Dharna before Parliament tomorrow to raise the issue of safety of women in Delhi. This was announced by the BJP spokesman, Ravi Shankar Prasad in New Delhi today. The decision to hold the dharna comes in the backdrop of the rape of a young woman in a bus in the national capital.Mr Prasad claimed that due to BJP’s intervention, the constitution amendment for quota in promotion for SCs and STs in government jobs has been changed substantially.

    The parliamentary party meeting of BJP, which met in New Delhi, condoled the death of former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Nityanand Swamy.
