Kokrajhar : A new born baby boy was found abandoned from Daolabari Tea Estate in Kokrajhar this morning hour.

One Gabardan Singh first notice the baby around 4.45 am near a culvert along the tea garden road near their house and informed his elder brother Mangal who informed the village headman. The village headman later informed the Kokajhar police. The infant was first taken to Daolabari Tea Estate Hospital and later brought to Kokrajhar Rupnath Brahma civil Hospital and kept in baby care unit of the hospital. The baby is stated to be in good health.

The baby was found wrapped in a towel with code clamp still attached to him. Some local said they saw a Bolero vehicle at that time and suspect must have dump the new born in the area.

The baby will be sent to Special Adoption Agency, Nichima in Chirang
