Over 1 lakh stranded labourers who originally belong to North East have returned home through Shramik Special trains so far.
Our Correspondent reports, the Chief Public Relation Officer of the N F Railway said, around 40,000 stranded labourers have returned home from North East through Shramik Special trains.
He said that 6 passenger trains are to run by the North East Frontier Railway from tomorrow. 3 trains will be operational in Assam while the rest 3 in other States.
North East Frontier Railway issued specific guidelines to passengers including downloading of the Aarogya Setu app.
Meanwhile, the Assam government is likely to issue phase 1 of Unlock guidelines tomorrow.
