  • SDPI leader wanted for hate speeches arrested at Kochi Int’l airport

    KeralaIn Kerala, police arrested Ashraf Moulavi, the State Vice President of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) at the Cochin International Airport this morning soon after his arrival from Doha.

    Cases have been registered against him at different police stations in the state for making hate speeches, following the chopping off of the palm of Prof T J Joseph in July 2010.

    Prof Joseph was attacked by a gang, for preparing a question paper with alleged objectionable reference to Prophet Mohammed.
