Haflong  : Following the completion of a fifteen-day Workshop cum training on Jeme traditional Dance, Helim Kechew and Heremidalim with drum beat under Chief Minister’s Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana, the closing ceremony was held at Mpuilo cultural Hall Boro Haflong on Saturday.

The event was organized by the cultural centre Haflong, Dima Hasao in collaboration with the Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Govt of Assam.

Trainees of different age groups who were under gone training for last fifteen days performed beautiful Jeme traditional Dance, Helim Kechew and Heremidalim with drum beat.

Aiming at the promotion and preservation traditional dance, song, and musical instruments was inaugurated by Sanjay Jidung, Joint Director, Cultural & Publicity centre, Dima Hasao.

The ceremony was attended by P Jeme, Cultural Development Officer, M. Jeme, Haraka Association; Dr Nirmal Sing etc along with Instructors and guardians of the students.

All the participants of this workshop cum training were given certificates.

Earlier all the guests were felicitated with ‘ Gamosa’ by the members of the officials of  cultural centre Haflong.
