Guwahati: Four members of a family were burnt to death in a house fire in the Dokoiso Colony near Gohpur Tinali in Itanagar, the capital of Arunachal Pradesh, early Saturday.Four members of a family were killed when their house caught fire in the Dokosio colony near Gohpur Tinali in the early hours of Saturday. Four members of a family were burnt to death due to fire.Superintendent of Police Tumme Amo said that a couple lost their lives with their two daughters in the fire incident. Police said the deceased have been identified as Ha Tasang (35), his wife Ha Yanning (30) and their daughters Ha Yapi (8) and Ha Yama (6).The SP said that one of the family’s tempo was also completely damaged by the fire. The cause of the fire is not yet known. The family was originally from Pipsorang in Kra Dadi district of Arunachal Pradesh.Police and fire service reached the spot as soon as the information was received and extinguished the fire. The SP said that a case has been registered regarding the incident and an attempt is being made to find out the cause of the fire. The inspection of the matter is going on. Police and fire service reached the spot and prevented the fire from spreading to other homes. A case has been registered and an investigation is on to ascertain the cause of the fire and damage to properties, the SP said.
