At least 17 people have been injured in a low intensity blast in a Krishnanagar bound local train from Sealdah in Kolkata, West Bengal on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, the incident took place around four in the morning between Barrackpore and Titagarh railway station.

Police, fire brigade and railway rescue teams have rushed to the spot.

Train services on the Sealdah-Barrackpore of the main suburban section have been suspended.
