Haflong  : Fourteen days lockdown in Dima Hasao starting from yesterday evoked very good response from the public realizing the fact that,  by maintaining covid protocol only people can win the pandemic unitedly.

Right from morning the road of Haflong looked deserted as no public traffic was on the road. People also were not willing to come out unnecessarily.

Yesterday people came out for essentials since very few grocery shops were allowed to open for the day, today being Tuesday no grocery shop found open at Haflong.

Though there has been instruction from Council authority for keeping offices open with minimum staff but most of the offices found to be closed. The sufferings of the people of interior though increased due to lockdown but people preferred to obey the government norms for the safety of themselves and others.
