DoNER minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has said that North east has performed much better than other regions in the fight against COVID-19.

He said that North Eastern states have  properly followed the lock down norms. He was participating as a special guest on the 100th episode of PRATIRODH program of AIR Guwahati  over phone  today.  Dr. Singh said that the North East region is full of potentialities.

Participating in the program Union Home Secretary A K Bhalla  appealed to the people to remain cautious to prevent the spread of COVID-19. He urged them to wear face masks wherever necessary. Mr. Bhalla said that the Pratirodh program has successfully countered fake news.

Assam Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna said that the ongoing lock down in Guwahati has been given for the safety of the people. Mr. Krishna appealed to people to follow the lock down properly in Guwahati.
